Earning gold
| Source | Details |
|---|---|
| The tutorial | The first tutorial battle pays 2,000 gold. New characters start with none. |
| Quests | Every quest pays gold when you report it: from a few hundred for an E-rank quest to several thousand for an S-rank one, more for a better clear grade. |
| Your salary | Paid by the general you serve once you reach the rank of Guard, roughly every week. It grows with your rank, the Honor you earned and the time you played, and pays nothing for a period in which you earned no Honor. Collect it from your general in the Courtyard. |
| Selling | The Merchant buys weapons (more for higher ranks), gear and consumables. Other players pay more on the Broker. |
PvP battles do not pay gold or Miso Koins at the moment.
Miso Koins
- Miso Koins belong to your account: all your characters share one purse, which holds up to 9,999.
- Buy them with gold at the Antique Dealer (Trade, then Purchase) or at the Merchant (the first row of Purchase): 500 gold per Koin.
- Koins can never be turned back into gold, and items bought with Koins cannot be resold.
- Your balance is shown under Miso Koins in the main menu and at the Antique Dealer.

The Broker (player market)
The Broker at the back of the Market runs one market shared by every faction.
Buying
- Talk to the Broker and choose Purchase, then Weapons, Gear or Consumables.
- Pick a type (All works) and, if you like, a highest price, then press Search.
- Choose a listing and confirm. Your own listings are never shown to you.
Selling
- Talk to the Broker and choose Broker, then Weapons, Gear or Consumables, and pick the item.
- Type a price. A small sales fee is shown before you confirm.
- The listing stays up for 7 days. You can have up to 20 at once.
- When something sells, a letter tells you and the Notices button lights up; collect the money at the Broker. Unsold items come back to you.
- To change a price or take a listing down, open the selling window again and choose the listing.
- Gems, ore, items bought with Koins, gear you are wearing and gear in a saved set cannot be listed.
Money tips for beginners
- Do the tutorial and your first quests: they pay your first gold.
- Serve a general and collect your salary every payday.
- Spend gold on tempering first; it makes the biggest difference.
- Save 5,000 gold for the Blacksmith's weekly Rank 3 weapon if one of this week's families suits you.
- Sell spare Rank 4 and Rank 5 weapons on the Broker rather than to the Merchant.
- Only turn gold into Koins when you know what you will buy with them.
