Musou Recovery Amount Calculation for Attacking Enemies & Musou Recovery Critical Value
Musou recovery amount per strike = [[Power coefficient × Total Musou value/1000] × (1 + Musou enhancement number/3)]
[ ] represents rounding operation;Remember the Divine Artifact effects (Updated 2017-8-19)
The 'each strike' here refers to creating one judgment against each living person, counted as one strike.
Rather than your own strike. Your strike, hitting however many people, creates that many 'Musou recovery strikes', so to calculate how much Musou your strike can recover, multiply the above formula result by how many people your strike hits.
Besides the already determined power and star rating, it's also related to Musou gauge length. (That is, even Azure Dragon can potentially increase Musou recovery amount.)
Under the same power coefficient conditions, Musou value always increases Musou recovery amount at fixed numerical points, these values are calledMusou Recovery Critical Valueright. And how much it increases is determined by the Musou enhancement number.
[Power coefficient × Total Musou value/1000] values, commonly 1-8, reaching 8 is already very Musou-focused (like 4-Musou modified Musou Rise iron whip)
Use this 1~8, multiply by the Musou recovery coefficient (Musou enhancement star count), and that's the Musou recovery amount for each hit.
0-5 star enhancement, Musou recovery coefficients are respectively
1 1.333 1.667 2 2.333 2.667
Example: 4-Musou modified Musou Rise iron whip, thrust, [20×410/1000]=8, [8×2.333]=18, thrusting one soldier recovers 18 Musou points, thrust 20+ soldiers and it's full~
Above table
The above image is a simple table, and there's also an Excel version with some calculation functions. Fill in the Musou value data and enhancement star count, and the left table will mark in red the row number for each power level. Looking to the right, you can get the recovery amount for each move. Fill in the power, and the table can calculate how many soldiers you need to hit to fill a full gauge.

(This formula seems to have some small differences from the formula when I posted the power data back then, and doesn't match the data from that time. The Musou increment was indeed changed once, right? Although I don't know exactly how it was changed. There's no way to verify it now. Let's just leave it as is and ignore it.)
From now on, the Musou world has another set of critical values...
In certain situations, it's still worth considering. For example with 3-Musou, if you can skip a level, it will bring 33%-17% speed improvement to soldier-fighting Musou building. If you're just short a few Musou points, it's very necessary to add it.
3-Musou iron sword, if total Musou value can reach 250, then using Dominance to build Musou speed will increase 50%, 250 3-Musou iron sword Dominance will be 100% faster than 2-Musou iron sword Dominance.
Do you feel that, at this time,Musou Recovery Critical Valuecompared toMusou Cycle Critical Valuehas become even more important
Knowing the recovery amount per strike, you can also calculate how many soldiers need to be hit to fill Musou, allowing more efficient targeted soldier gathering. (Only for pure Musou recovery situations, if also for gourds, of course gather as many as possible for efficiency.)
Generally speaking, for fighting soldiers to build Musou, the greater the move's power and range, the greater the Musou recovery amount.
When there are enough small soldiers (flat red soldier areas), try to choose wide-range moves (even better if they don't blow away, convenient for eating gourds)
In situations with very few soldiers (blue soldier areas, fortresses), or when urgently needing to fill Musou, it's best to use high-power moves to attack soldiers. Very small range? Multiple strikes are still worth it, this way you can get maximum value from the limited lives of small soldiers.
If soldiers are really too few, just crouch. With high Musou enhancement numbers, it's also fast. Crouching Musou recovery amount is roughly = 4 per second × crouch Musou level (1 + Musou enhancement number + life pill +Lieutenant life pill + red health (if it can recover Musou))
Roughly like this, seems it was adjusted? Haven't researched it since.
High-power moves, besides most C2 and C4 (though there aren't many useful ones), many N5 and N6 are also excellent moves for recovering Musou. Don't be superstitious about wide-range C6 moves - in some situations, N6 can be more efficient than C6.
You can combine this with your own weapon to check the table.
Of course specific situations still need comprehensive consideration (if you don't mind the trouble of analyzing and deciding) time urgency, whether for hitting gourds simultaneously, number of small soldiers, how much difference between short narrow high-power and conventional useful wide-range (if you don't mind having calculated before)
Understanding the recovery speed of each move of the weapon in your hands, when Musou isn't full and fighting soldiers, comprehensively consider, weigh pros and cons, choose a more reasonable way to fight soldiers for Musou recovery. (Mindlessly using one move throughout is also fine, simple, easy and practical, results won't be much worse. Especially godly techniques like iron whip thrust)
Regarding the previous paragraph, a more specific example,
Iron Sword power, N4(12), N5(17), Dominance(12), N6(20),
N5>Dominance, so try to bypass small soldiers with N4, then use N5 to create as many hits as possible, leave the remainder to Dominance,
This is the most efficient way, not just relying on that one Dominance strike.
Or you can try this approach, using circular movement, use N5 to get as close to enemy groups as possible with minimal hits, mainly use N6 to attack soldiers,
N6 range isn't large, usually can only hit the front few rows of enemy groups.
(Sergeants chase close, soldiers stand far, how to lure and fight, research it yourself)
With the soldier count on flat ground, cutting half is enough to fill one Musou gauge. (3-Musou, 25+ small soldiers)
This approach increases recovery speed, but gourd supply can't keep up. (Killing fewer soldiers)
So when you don't need a lot of gourds, or when there are few soldiers but you urgently need to fill your Musou, you can consider trying N6 moves.
