Bodyguards
On the Battlefield, Sub-officers will always follow the Character and assist in attacks. Combat NPCs that initially have no Sub-officer will be automatically assigned one, but the assigned Sub-officer will be recalled after battle ends. Only by recruiting your own Sub-officers can you train them.
In battlefields, there is a certain chance that wild officers will appear. Defeat them to collect officer souls and achieve victory in that battle. After the battle ends, this officer will surrender, and you can choose to recruit or abandon them. After recruitment, you can give them a name. This way you can obtain your own officer.
Currently officers are divided into human officers and animal officers.
The home can accommodate 8 Sub-officers. When 8 Sub-officers are already present, recruiting another will prompt whether to dismiss an existing Sub-officer. The garden can accommodate 2 mount Sub-officers, and through garden expansion can accommodate up to 4 mount Sub-officers.
In Beginner Battlefield combat, picking up Vice General Souls will allow you to obtain Vice Generals after battle ends, regardless of victory or defeat.

Humanoid Sub-officers are Sub-officers in human form. Human Sub-officers are distinguished by the Weapons they use. When a wild humanoid Sub-officer appears on the Battlefield, their name corresponds to the Weapon they use.
For example: A 'Twin Hammers Sub-officer' uses twin hammers as their Weapon.
Human officers will change appearance upon reaching certain levels.

Animal officers are officers in animal form. Animal officers will randomly undergo weapon type upgrades when leveling up, with attacks having attributes (may also not appear).

Some animal Sub-officers, such as tigers, wolves, elephants, etc., can use 'Divine Mount Medicine' when intimacy reaches C rank to transform into mount Sub-officers. After becoming a mount Sub-officer, that Sub-officer will leaveHome, standing by in the garden.
Mounted officers can be ridden in the Plaza and in battle (when the mounted officer's enthusiasm is at maximum, riding speed in the Plaza is at its fastest).
Mount Sub-officers can be transformed into regular Sub-officers by using 'Guardian Heart Medicine'.

Each officer assigned in battle will gain military merit after the battle ends, with accumulated military merit used to increase level.
When officer level increases, various ability attributes may randomly improve, and skills can be learned at levels 20, 40, and 60.
Currently the maximum officer level is 60.

When a Sub-officer participates in a specific number of battles, their intimacy with the Character will increase. When intimacy reaches C rank, the Sub-officer gains enthusiasm, allowing you to select 'Appoint Follower' and 'Dine' options in the Sub-officer menu.
Appoint Guard
Appoints a guard officer when going out.
Dine
Give castle Items to Sub-officers.
Sub-officers with enthusiasm will randomly pick up Items after battle ends and give them to the Character, while their enthusiasm decreases.
Officer enthusiasm can be restored using elixirs or pastries.
After appointing a guard, you can use the standby command to dismiss the guard.

Sub-officer Enhancement includes non-mount state Enhancement and mount state Enhancement.
Non-mount Enhancement is performed by the Character picking up Celestial Gourds on the Battlefield and executing 'Sub-officer Enhancement'. When unleashing Sub-officer Musou, it will carry the effects of Enhancement Skills. For Sub-officers that have learned all 3 Sub-officer Enhancements: one-star Enhancement produces one-star skill effects when unleashing Musou, two-star Enhancement produces one and two-star skill effects, and three-star Enhancement produces one, two, and three-star skill effects.
If used beforeSub-officer GuideSub-officers that participate in battle in mounted state. When performing Sub-officer Enhancement, corresponding guide abilities can be improved.
"Weapon Enhancement" in mounted state will randomly enhance weapon slots.
Officers in mounted state will possess the officer's ultimate enhancement.

Officers can learn enhancement skills at levels 20, 40, and 60 respectively.
