Walkthrough
Same as the previous Lieutenant and Captain promotion quests, after receiving the quest from your own General, go find the Civil Officer to execute it.
Compared to the Captain promotion quest, the map is much smaller, so don't worry about wasting time traveling. All 4 bases must be captured, with the following capture methods:
A: Soldier Defeat
B: Tower Destruction
C: Officer Defeat
D: Squad Leader Defeat
Since there are no enemy forces in the lower part of the map, we need to defeat 600 enemies in the upper area as shown in the diagramGreen CircleComplete at the indicated position.
Since there are 40 enemies in the soldier captain base and 20 enemies in the tower base, plus a few at the officer points, as long as our current enemy count plus remaining soldiers at the soldier base exceeds 540, we can head to that lower point
(As shown in the diagram. Because I ran back and forth in the upper area, entering the soldier base each time I passed to eliminate the nearest 20 soldiers, the final count of remaining 20 soldiers on the opposite side plus my current 529 defeats exceeds 540, so I can proceed to capture the point.)
Of course, when approaching 500, we need to deliberately save a long random 2x Attack buff.
There's nothing difficult about capturing bases. After capturing 4 bases and defeating 600 enemies, the general will appear.
Activate the previously saved 2x Attack state and use the Imperial Seal Box to resolve the battle!
After defeating the General, the quest ends. Successfully promoted to Lieutenant General.
S-Rank Achievement Notes
Quest completion equals S-rank. Compared to the Captain promotion quest, the Lieutenant General exam doesn't have much increased difficulty. As long as you're not following a terrifying character like Lu Bu, you can generally handle it easily.
Unlike previous promotion quests, the General guards the necessary path to the wooden box, so I suggest everyone destroy the wooden box before the General spawns to avoid being killed by the pouch.
After completing the quest, you become a General with permission to use Level 4 Weapons, closing the gap with other high-level players.
The road ahead is still long, with many unknown battles awaiting you. Please continue working hard!
