Chronicle Quest -- Attack and Defense of Nan Province and Battle of Dingjun Mountain

Speaking of the Cao Wei chronicle quartet, we have previously introduced the chronicle stories of Cao Cao and Xiahou Dun. Now we need to talk about the stories of Cao Ren and Xiahou Yuan, whose stories are also classics in Three Kingdoms history.

Attack and Defense of Nan Province

Time: 16 minutes

Map and Difficulty: C, Next Door

Requirements: Complete each quest according to the prompts

S Condition: Remaining time above 4 minutes, one completion level deducted every half minute.

S Reward: Chronicle Platform "Attack and Defense of Nan Province" historical record, expression/spring

Recommended Weapon Items: High mobility weapon, Thunder Orb.

Same principle applies - when doing the chronicle quest "Attack and Defense of Nan Province", it will rain most of the time, so using Thunder Orb to stun tough NPCs is always highly recommended.

First we are inside the stronghold, but facing the Wu army's offensive, guard commander Niu Jin decides to personally venture out to attack. However, he encounters an ambush and needs the player and Cao Ren to personally help rescue him. As shown in the yellow circled area in the image above. One thing to note is that soldiers will respawn quickly, so the player needs to concentrate on eliminating all ambush troops.

Then follow the prompt to lure Zhou Yu to the yellow circle in the bottom left of the map, where Zhou Yu will be ambushed by our forces and wounded by arrows. Zhou Yu orders a full retreat, leaving several officers to cover the rear, as shown in the image below. These rear guard officers are all in level 4 tough state, so the Thunder Orb's effect comes in handy... After defeating all officers, quickly head to the enemy supply depot.

When reaching the supply depot, Zhou Yu suddenly revives and reappears at his spawn point, but at the same time, Zhuge Liang and Zhao Yun have captured the stronghold. As shown in the image below.

There are two methods to continue this story:

Ending 1: Cover Cao Ren's escape from the battlefield.

Quickly run to the bottom of the map and escape with Cao Ren along the light blue route on the map, but you will eventually encounter Zhou Tai blocking Cao Ren's escape. At this point, leave Cao Ren to deal with Zhou Tai, then finish off Zhou Tai with a final blow to complete this quest.

Ending 2: Lure Zhou Yu to duel with Zhuge Liang and Zhao Yun (thanks to Suixin Wu for providing)

Don't worry about the supply depot, follow the green route shown in the image above and lure Zhou Yu to fight Zhuge Liang and Zhao Yun together. But be careful of Zhuge Liang and Zhao Yun, as they can send you home at any time. Especially Zhuge Liang's C1 Yang attribute armor-breaking light orb and C3 forced armor break.

When they have fought for a while, use one Musou with three lives to complete the quest.
