The DWO client dates from 2008. Its files are packed and not code-signed, which antivirus programs often mistake for a threat. The launcher and game downloaded from this site are safe.
- If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”, choose More info → Run anyway.
- If a file is quarantined or deleted, restore it and add an exclusion for your game folder.
- Only download the game from dynastywarriors.online — never from a link or file someone sends you.

Download Launcher
Download the launcher from this page and run it to install the game.
Install DirectX 9
You may need to install DirectX 9 if it's not already on your system.
Configure & Play
In the installer folder, use DWOnlineEnv to configure graphics, shortcuts, and other game settings. Then jump in!

If the game doesn't launch, you may need to install DirectX 9. A copy is included in the installer folder, or you can download it from Microsoft.
